We have looked after this panoramic passenger lift for several years now. The lift in question is in the heart of Liverpool’s fantastic city centre and is a bustling big-name retail store.
The passenger lift can get used by the public up to 300 times per day, so it was now in need of a lift upgrade (lift modernisation as we call it in the trade). It is vital that the work was done within a two-week window so it did not affect trade too much, so we started the work just after the Christmas busy period.
Due to heavy usage we decided to use a Kollmorgen UK Lift Control system with Wittur UK Hydra Door Operator. The result is a smooth, efficient, and reliable passenger lift for our key client at one of their flagship stores.
