We have looked after this panoramic passenger lift for several years now. The lift in question is in River Island. This store in particular is in the heart of Liverpool’s fantastic city centre.

The passenger lift can get used by the public up to 300 times per day, so it was now in need of a lift upgrade (lift modernisation as we call it in the trade). It is vital that the work was done within a two-week window so it did not affect trade too much, so we started the work just after the Christmas busy period.

Due to heavy usage we decided to use a Kollmorgen UK Lift Control system with Wittur UK Hydra Door Operator. The result is a smooth, efficient, and reliable passenger lift for our key client at one of their flagship stores.
