april recap

Nationwide Lifts is now a safe contractor approved company. We are committed to not only working efficiently but also making sure we work as safely as possible.

Nationwide Lifts – The Game (Update)

The Nationwide game is still in development. It felt too easy so we changed that, there are now enemies that seek to stop the player from completing their objective. As well as this, there are also 4 bosses that are fought on 4 different levels (see if you can guess the levels from the screenshots on our linkedin).

Here are some details of the enemies that are pictured. All enemies get tougher every level.

Lien: the main enemies encountered, can spawn with wrench boomerangs, shockwaves or with ranged attacks on harder difficulties.

Lien Healer: heals nearby enemies

Detsuper: appears in level 2 onwards, has a similar attack to the Lien but faster and more damaging.

As well as enemies, we also added quality of life improvements and other stuff.

Our Work

Woolton Grange Lift Refurbishment

This lift refurbishment wasn’t like your typical lift mod, this time it was in a building said to be haunted. It is a Liverpool based care home that was once a church. It was for one of our key clients We Care Group & Summit Care Group.

.We replaced the lift control system to a reliable DMG package, replaced the old busmatic doors to superb Meta ones. In addition to this, we changed the hydraulics to a more efficient EV100 Blaine.

Within 4 of receiving the order to completion, the lift was refurbished and working like a new lift. We reckon even the ghosts would approve. Special thanks to Shorts Industries Ltd and HYDRAX LIMITED

“Wow the new lift interior looks stunning guys” – Attenborough Care Home Manager (WCS)

Conclusion

Nearly halfway through the year and another excellent month for the Nationwide crew. It wouldn’t be possible without our excellent customers, suppliers and of course our staff.
