We finished a lift modernisation for a school based in Keswick. Located in the Lake district, Keswick is a charming village known for its tourism and things to do.
The lift the Keswick school had was well maintained by another lift company. However, due to its age and was in desperate need of a lift modernisation.
We have recently done a lift upgrade for a school in Keswick. The client’s passenger lift whilst well maintained by another company was old and in need of a modernisation. Superted and his trusty sidekick Jack were tasked with completing the work on site, in which they did. We are lucky to have a engineers like them.
What We Did
As part of our lift modernisation package, we gave the client the full lift upgrade, and now they see the benefits firsthand. As part of our work, we installed a new state-of-the-art DMG control system which included a new levelling Limax system.
In addition to this, we upgraded the car top, car controls and landing controls, complete with indication and all associated wiring. As well as this, we upgraded the door operator to an L&L sourced from our good friends at Shorts and upgraded the door safety edges from Weco.
At Nationwide Lifts, we deliver the complete and full upgrade. We changed the hydraulic tank with a new motor, pump, and Blaine valve block. We even upgrade the shaft lighting, stop switches, car top handrail, pit prop, and shaft lighting.
Conclusion
We are confident the students and staff will have a safe and reliable lift for many years. The delivery and installation were carefully planned so we could finish the work while children and staff were off, ensuring no disruption.
